The fruit is sourced from a small vineyard behind the French Laundry. Lemon zest, apple cider, and granny smith apples compete with a note of grass on the nose—completely devoid of grapefruit. This Sauvignon Blanc is perfect to sip with fresh tomato salads. |

The winemaking assistant had extra grapes from a side project that Kim offered to buy as a favor. The result was 170 cases of delicious rosé. |
| Stout Family Wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2018 | Stout has strong feelings about the proper time to release Cabernet Sauvignon: 24-36 months in oak with 24 months of bottle aging. He got this formula from Justin Myer, one of the founders of Silver Oak. Cherry cola, ripe black cherries, and cocoa powder without being ‘dusty,’ though the majority of the fruit is from a Rutherford vineyard. |
